After the reunion session on 25th, went to raynor's house. Oh what a fun time we had there. Me, eugene, shi hui, pei li, asik, roy, erm... and a couple of guys more... though we stayed outside the house (balcony) we had fun telling jokes, playing 99.... haha.. they keep saboing me lor... 10=chinleng, what the!!! lol... but it was fun, i looked like the brightest star that night, lolz.. I was quite fortunate to last a few rounds without losing, thanks to my marvellous on-hand cards..! only to see the other players grumbling, heheh!! ya it was really fun that night.. its really been a long time since i got to such joyful moments!
26th: Hell unleashed, lol... nah just exaggerated.. Ben tham met us in vjc, told us abt his army life (PTP) He said it was hell.. oh then he unleashed his "array" of vulgarities (though quite repetitive), commanding us as if we were dogs...things like "knock it down", "wake up your idea" blah blah blah.... very common.. he insulted us as if we were the lowest forms of life on earth, mocked us like there was no tmr... made us do all the phy excercises he did on a typical morning.. it was really a chore to us, or rather me, my relatively untrained body just after a hectic week of carolling. I was pushing my self to the limit. My body is aching every second now. my life is bleak...oh well... but in retrospect, i ought to thank ben for his effort, his concern and his courage to stand there to instruct us, cos there were a few seniors watching us.. lol.. one year my senior. Ben carried on, we looked like fools, but i have no regrets now. It was worthwhile. While i can still live decently to publish this post, ben must inevitably be going through hardship, lol.. It is ironical that ben is being treated the same way now just as he did to us less than 24 hrs ago. Anyway, as what ben says, NS is the best sliiming centre with a free slimming programme.. wonder why girls dont enlist too :p haha...hmm.. probably with the exception of angele and hui luan? :)
Time really flies yea..9 days to NS enlistment. Another 9 days of civilian life. But no matter how terrible ppl might say of NS, i think we shld just remain optimistic. Afterall, its gonna take up 2 yrs of our life :) And i guess no one would like to live in gloom for their next two yrs... The chinese saying goes :
天将降大任于斯人也，必先苦其心志，劳其筋骨，饿其体肤，空乏其身，行拂乱其所为，所以动心忍性，增益其所不能
Hope we will all take it as a chance to toughen up, to be "men" =) haha ok then, shall cya on my next post. Nothing more to write le :p
